Mission Statement
The Friends of Stonecrest Library are volunteers working to help ensure a high-quality public library. We provide support by sponsoring programs, raising funds for books and materials and advocating for the Stonecrest Library.
Our purpose is to enhance the community interest for Stonecrest Library as a prime cultural and educational asset, to focus public attention on its resources and services. We are a registered 501 (C)(3) group exemption with the Alliance of the Friends of DeKalb County Public Library.

MEETING SCHEDULE
General Meetings
General meetings for members are held at the library on the first Monday of each even-numbered month from 6:30-7:45pm.
Book Sales
Book sales are held the 2nd Saturday of February, May, August and November from 10:00am-4:00pm. Your help is needed during the sale and afterward to put the books back from 3:30-5:00pm. You help is also needed the day before the sale (Friday) to set-up the books from 3:00-5:00pm.
Board Meetings
Board Meetings are held from 6:30-7:45pm at the library on the first Monday of each odd-numbered month from 6:30-7:45pm. Members are welcome to attend but cannot participate in proceedings.
